Arthropoda
The phylum Arthropoda consists of animals that are invertebrate. They have exoskeletons, segmented bodies, and jointed appendages. Insects, crustaceans, arachnids and myriapods are all arthropods. Arthropods make up approximately 80% of all known species on earth with over a million known species! Most arthropods consist of three segments: a head, a thorax and an abdomen. Arthropods are very ecologically diverse with arthropods living in every type of ecosystem.
