ExoskeletonThe exoskeleton is on the outside of an animal. The exoskeleton is the external supportive covering of an animal. an example of a phylum with an exoskeleton is an arthropod.
EndoskeletonThe endoskeleton is on the inside of an animal. It is the internal skeleton or framework of the body of an animal. An example of a phylum with an endoskeleton is the chordata phylum.
