The Box Jelly
This species of Jellyfish is one of the deadliest Jellyfish in the world. In total it has cause 64 deaths around the world. It is mainly found off the coast of Australia and The Phillipines. It has so much venom in it that it can kill 60 people in just one sting! It has about 60 tentacles and each one is about 15 centimeters long. This like all Jellyfish don't really have a skeletal system like other creatures.
In this Jellyfish it has 2 types of a skeletal system a hydrostatic skeletal system and a exoskeletal system. The main purpose of the hydrostatic skeletal system is to help the muscles contract to help change the shape of the coelom. This is more of a skeletal system that has to do with the muscles then any actual bones. The exoskeletal system on the other hand has to do with the the shape of the Jellyfish. this Jellyfish has a exoskeleton that allows it to squeeze into many tight spaces. It also does the job of making sure that the Jellyfish keeps its shape.
